Christmas and New Year Update

Hey Hey Ok everyone:

Sorry i know ive been rather preoccupied and therefore not online much, but quick update on wats been happening, well lets see christmas day was well christmas day. In the morning we went to the church service, then we came home and had lunch which my mum made, was really nice turkey and stuff. Then in afternoon we went to a labour camp and gave out shoeboxes which ppl had spent ages collecting the stuff for. Was pretty cool, my first christmas service in another language, which i was informed was actually not hindi after all, so i have no idea wat language it was lol but was cool all the same  then later on went out to desert with some ppls which was cool then came back to dubai and hung out with some family friends, then the following day stayed home with food poisoning but oh well lol  i survived evidently.

 

Since then, well that day i stayed home (boxing day) me, my mum and sis finished an entire 1000 piece puzzle hehe…..how awesome eh? No i guess just a lil sad but hey was fun….lol. Like literally we started it that morning and finished it at around 10 that evening, yes we took breaks to watch movies and stuff, not that sad lol.

 

Following day I went to the snowpark and mall of the emirates with some ppl. Was awesome fun i hav to say…..hehe altho i did get a lil cold after a while, then we went to costas and watched a movie and stuff which was just as hilarious, king julien man!!  

 

Lets see…..and yea…..yesterday i went to the beach in the morning, then reunited with some school friends for lunch and stuff which was super fun, went to hard rock, had the most amusing waiter lol  but its all good, its all good hehe. Then played pool and wat not which rocked on…….um yea. Then came home for like 10 mins, then went to abu dhabi for nype. Which was awesome, shame not many ppl went but was still just as powerful, proved that we dont need many ppl to hear stuff like that and for it to be powerful.

 

So folks thats all from me, just remember to ask urself the question what if? What if God could use you eh??

Pausing Psalms for an encouraging passage

Hey Hey All, Good times Good times. Well things been pretty busy and pretty interesting the past 48 or so hrs….so ive decided to break from the psalms and bring u an encouraging passage which i found which surprisingly enabled me to find strength i didnt know possible so here tis, enjoy and talk to u soon.

 

God Offers Comfort to All

 ³All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source^[b] of every mercy and the God who comforts us. ⁴He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. ⁵You can be sure that the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. ⁶So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. ⁷We are confident that as you share in suffering, you will also share God’s comfort.

 

Hope this is a great encouragement to anyone who is feeling overwhelmed or burdened or nething of the sort. Reread it again and again and i found that it gave me a sense of peace like ive neva known before.

Oh hey yea and the reference, its found in good old 2 corinthians chapter 1…….i hav to admit im rather fond of pauls letters to the churches……i think they are my favorite books. I should get around to reading some more of them at some point. So far ive only looked at romans and phillipians in detail.

Psalm 47

Morning all and morning me!! hehe….goodness i is in one of those weirdo moods….all the phone calls and wat not i suppose haha so i is taking a break and posting todays psalm, u lucky ppl u (sounds like mr. gulliford in there eh DC ppl? lol) i know u is all so happy to be hearing from me again.

 

Hey listen, as much as i would love to keep all the psalms on here, im beginning to run out of space on my blog…..crazy eh? So i be thinking eventually i is gona hav to delete a bunch of stuff, yes yes tissue for you i know  but there simply isnt enough space on here for all of it. But i shall wait until its incredibly full before deleting any of it……*sigh* that will be a sad day anyway. But i is working on a website anyway…..so mayb i shall continue to psalms on here and move my photo albums elsewhere….and then lucky u guys cause im sure i can add more photos too haha…..so ull be able to see my complete collection rather than just a selection…..sure ull all appreciate that anyway. Well i best be off soon, so heres the reason i was posting:

 

Psalm 47

Goodness these all remind me of songs, this one reminds me of the one we sing in the services on fridays…..how awesome is, the Lord most high, He reigns over all the earth, His people shout aloud for joy, at the sound of the coming king  Great and mighty God we will give you praise, we will lift our hands and our voice we’ll raise, to the king of kings, and the Lord of Lords…..we will praise you Lord.

    ³
    He subdues the nations before us,
       putting our enemies beneath our feet.

    He chose the Promised Land as our inheritance,
       the proud possession of Jacob’s descendants, whom he loves.

I do wish i could hear a sample of wat an interlude would sound like eh? Noone else curious?

I cant wait for His return so that we all may be witnesses to His coming and wat that will look like huh?

Psalm 46 – Passin time while ppl finish their lunch lol

Hey Hey all, ah my favorite color  haha…….always brings out ones most amusing side. Lol…..moving on……todays psalm comes all the way from Psalm 46 hehe…..and comes complete with a lil picture (ahhhhhh how cute i hear u all say lol) so yes here tis:

Hehe i love the way that the type of voice is even specified here…..note is says soprano voices, not alto or nethin but actually soprano…….how long ago was that decided on then?

    God is our refuge and strength,
       always ready to help in times of trouble.

 

Reminds me of Psalm 23 too…..but thats ok cause i do like that psalm. The fact that God is always ready to help us in times of need is somethin we do need to be constantly reminded as well we’re human, so unfaithful and we forget so many things we need to remember.

    So we will not fear, even if earthquakes come
       and the mountains crumble into the sea.

    ³
    Let the oceans roar and foam.
       Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!

So similar to David’s psalms, i tell ya…..i do wish i could have heard someone sing this song, so that i could hear how cool this sounds. And when u think about it…..they would sound weird in english cause werent they originally written in aramaic?? im not bible expert so someone feel free to correct me here lol. They prob sound really cool in aramaic and much much nicer than they would if they were sung in english. But id still love to hear one all the same,

Psalm 45 – Updating today…..working afternoon instead

Hello Hello…..Good Morning to All, Hows u all this mornin? Good Good, Am very glad. I slept until 9 this morning so i is jumpin good, k well not really jumping but ya know wat i mean rite  hehe good thought so, well for those who speak Dreamy anyway haha  and if you just discovered that u do, well good job *sound of trumpets* welcome as a national citizen of ~DreamyLand~TM (All Rights Reserved) hehe…….k ill stop being insane and just post the psalm now

 

Psalm 45

I am guessing that here, the song is being written about someone since it said in the verse above how God has blessed you…..

I do like this verse I dont know why…..its just cool. To think that even God hates things….but only things which are wrong.

Is this verse talking about the royal daughter still do you think? Or meerly describing how things will be for her if she leaves?

I did take a particular liking to some of the verses in this psalm, although on the whole this psalm does confuse me a little, i would appreciate anyones insites on this so we can figure it out together……well anyway hav to be goin but please post!

Weekend – Update

Heylo All. I had an AWESOME yet crazy busy weekend so im afraid the psalms are a little behind atm…..will try and work on that soon. Also hav a deadline at work at the moment, so you guys may hav to wait a lil bit.

 

Anyway crazy weekend with banquet on weds…..u guys all looked great by the way  and once again thanks for making it all happen u ppls. Was very cool!!! Then after that we had interesting moments at the Matchetts hehe dont ever sit down around a bunch of hyped up ppl in one place when ur all really tired haha……crazy things happen ya know

 

Then thursday we had 2 production rehearsals……crazy one in the morning for star i

of wonder which happened yesterday (awesome job once again guys!!!) then the uccd production rehearsal in afternoon. Then movie in evening, seriously no wonder i came out of this weekend tired and with a bad ankle lol.

 

Then yesterday i went to uccd in the morning……then straight to crowne plaza for dress rehearsal, home for hour, then back to crowne plaza for performance (during which u guys rocked btw). hehe seriously always feels like i should move into the crowne plaza around christmas time hehe. But no i think actually i should move into decc……would save me a lot of gas money lol.

 

Do wish i could have been at 2 places at once and come to prayer meetin too but hey thats life i guess. Well i best be off with all this stuff to do.

Psalm 44

Howdy Howdy again…..ah looky here wat an awesome color  has no relevance to anything of course  so i is back 2 minutes after the previous post…..im sure i was missed dreadfully awww i love you guys too  haha wow im like almost hyper……almost the key word here. So yes…….the psalm for today will be psalm 44 from the desecendants of Korah still………they is still having their turn in good ol book II of psalms here so here goes and please post comments folks they do indeed help.

    O God, we have heard it with our own ears–
       our ancestors have told us
    of all you did in other days,
       in days long ago:

    ²
    You drove out the pagan nations
       and gave all the land to our ancestors;
    you crushed their enemies,
       setting our ancestors free.

Talking about awesome things which our God did in the past for His ppl eh?? Guess wat…..He continues to do so.

    ³
    They did not conquer the land with their swords;
       it was not their own strength that gave them victory.
    It was by your mighty power that they succeeded;
       it was because you favored them and smiled on them.

Everything we accomplish is by Him not by our own strength or power, remember that. The gifts you hav were given to you by Him so that you could glorify Him, so if you can play sports, play them for Him, if you can sing, Sing to Him, if you dance, dance to Him with all you’ve got, the list goes on and on……

Quite a scary thought really, theres stuff in my heart which i wish noone would ever know, including God and im sure thats the same for everyone. But guess wat…..He does know and He still loves you regardless of wats in there.

I have to admit i can relate to this whenever it feels like nothing is goin rite…..tis like where are you God and why have you abandoned us?? But u know wat…..He’s there and He hasnt gone anywhere…..he’s with you and always will be, He will guide you and pick you up when u fall. Just because He doesnt feel close to you doesnt mean He isnt rite beside you. Dont lose faith because of emotions or circumstances instead……hold on to wat u know is true and persist in pursuing Christ with all you’ve got.

Psalm 43 – Fairly Short Installment

Hey Hey And how is all my lovely ppls doin? Hopefully good and wonderful and better than my mood was a while ago…..sorry bout that ppls u know who u r. Anyway the sun is shining and there isnt a cloud in the sky (the part i can see neway) and tis nearly time for lunch so hey  life is looking up eh? Ok well psalm for yesterday, was a lil busy so sorry bout the bein behind:

    O God, take up my cause!
       Defend me against these ungodly people.
       Rescue me from these unjust liars.

    ²
    For you are God, my only safe haven.
       Why have you tossed me aside?
    Why must I wander around in darkness,
       oppressed by my enemies?

Does feel a lil like that, tis like God you are the place where i find refuge, then why in the midst of all that does it feel like you are so far away?

    Send out your light and your truth;
       let them guide me.
    Let them lead me to your holy mountain,
       to the place where you live.

    There I will go to the altar of God,
       to God–the source of all my joy.

Then u think about who He is and everything He has done and you remember the need to run to Him and to keep Him the place where u find refuge and you know that everything will be alrite.

Psalm 42 – Book II New Beginnings for Insites

Hi Hi y’all….so hows everyone this morning? I think im talking to myself on here ya know but newho…….i am crazy neway rite…. no of course not knew you wouldnt agree with that. Hehe ok so neways……seriously hows ppls doing these days??? Good?? K i keep expecting someone to answer hehe…..i is a lil tired, ya know it took me 40 mins to persuade myself to get up this morning, something about dull weather which really makes a person not wana get up i hav to say. But neway heres this mornings psalm:

    As the deer pants for streams of water,
       so I long for you, O God.

 

Famous line which im sure most of us have heard before eh? I do like this line tho, its very picturesque of wat ppl should be like when thirsting for God yea?

    ²
    I thirst for God, the living God.
       When can I come and stand before him?

 

I like the impatience going on here, kinda like when can i stand before him like netime soon huh huh???

    ³
    Day and night, I have only tears for food,
       while my enemies continually taunt me, saying,
       "Where is this God of yours?"

    My heart is breaking
       as I remember how it used to be:
    I walked among the crowds of worshipers,
       leading a great procession to the house of God,
    singing for joy and giving thanks–
       it was the sound of a great celebration!

I like the way that……no not David but apparently the descendants of Korah (any idea who they were btw?), they show how one move from bein discouraged to being full of praise. Like they’re showing that even though God appears so far away……they can remain strong in faith. A big encouragement so I find anyway.

Psalm 41 – AC Project and David again

Hello Hello All, Well the AC work is finished for the UAE yoohoo!! Didnt get all but im just doing a final count now….not sure any of u are actually reading these or actually care but will tell ya when ive finished counting anyway. Well on to more important stuff….

    Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor.
       The LORD rescues them in times of trouble.

    ²
    The LORD protects them
       and keeps them alive.
    He gives them prosperity
       and rescues them from their enemies.

    ³
    The LORD nurses them when they are sick
       and eases their pain and discomfort.

    ⁴
    "O LORD," I prayed, "have mercy on me.
       Heal me, for I have sinned against you."

    ⁵
    But my enemies say nothing but evil about me.
       "How soon will he die and be forgotten?" they ask.

I have to admit ive neva come across anybody whos ever told me that they wish i could hurry up and die. Obviously ppl in Davids day were perhaps a lil more open about their feelings?

    They visit me as if they are my friends,
       but all the while they gather gossip,
       and when they leave, they spread it everywhere.

Now this i will admit still happens……ppl will act as though they are ur best friend and then behind ur back talk badly about u in front of other ppl. Still hurts when u hear about this after rather than them just tellin u to your face.

I dont agree with this verse, kinda like make me well so i can do something back to them. Duno, just dont like his attitude here.
