Psalm 47

For the choir director: A psalm of the descendants of Korah.
Come, everyone, and clap your hands for joy!
Shout to God with joyful praise!

For the LORD Most High is awesome.
He is the great King of all the earth.

Goodness these all remind me of songs, this one reminds me of the one we sing in the services on fridays… awesome is, the Lord most high, He reigns over all the earth, His people shout aloud for joy, at the sound of the coming king  Great and mighty God we will give you praise, we will lift our hands and our voice we’ll raise, to the king of kings, and the Lord of Lords…..we will praise you Lord.

He subdues the nations before us,
putting our enemies beneath our feet.

He chose the Promised Land as our inheritance,
the proud possession of Jacob’s descendants, whom he loves.

I do wish i could hear a sample of wat an interlude would sound like eh? Noone else curious?

God has ascended with a mighty shout.
The LORD has ascended with trumpets blaring.
I cant wait for His return so that we all may be witnesses to His coming and wat that will look like huh?

    Sing praise to God, sing praises;
sing praise to our King, sing praises!

For God is the King over all the earth.
       Praise him with a psalm!

    God reigns above the nations,
       sitting on his holy throne.

The rulers of the world have gathered together.
They join us in praising the God of Abraham.
For all the kings of the earth belong to God.
       He is highly honored everywhere.

I hav another picture to go with this psalm, but sadly tis at home, i shall try and scan it and put it in later if i hav the time, well i best be off now…….soon my lil space fellows,

Hmm well the psalm pictures are pretty small, hard to see. Though I havent checked the album to see them in a bigger size, so yeah. Don\’t know why it always stands out to me, but when I read scriptures I\’m always struck by God\’s total sovereignty over the entire earth. And not just in its entirity, but in the specific little things too. Don\’t know where the verse is, but it talks about God and how He provides for the sparrows, and that not one of them falls to the ground without His knowledge. And says how much more does God care for us? I guess something that is hard for me to understand right now, is why God allows certain things. Why they happen. Tis a comfort to me though when i remember that He\’s in charge and has a plan. Wish I knew what the plan was a lot of the time, but I guess is a challange from God kinda like He\’s askin "Hey, do you trust Me enough to simply go on, and have faith and believe that I\’ll lead you to the best place possible for you?"
