Psalm 6 – Was yesterdays….almost there

Will cut straight to the point with this post and just post the psalm……..would really really LOVE to see some comments coming up ppls!! PLEASE PLEASE……pretty please for me?  haha

    O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger
       or discipline me in your rage.

    ²
    Have compassion on me, LORD, for I am weak.
       Heal me, LORD, for my body is in agony.

    ³
    I am sick at heart.
       How long, O LORD, until you restore me?

    Return, O LORD, and rescue me.
       Save me because of your unfailing love.

    For in death, who remembers you?
       Who can praise you from the grave?

    I am worn out from sobbing.
       Every night tears drench my bed;
       my pillow is wet from weeping.

    My vision is blurred by grief;
       my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies.

    Go away, all you who do evil,
       for the LORD has heard my crying.

    The LORD has heard my plea;
       the LORD will answer my prayer.

    May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified.
       May they suddenly turn back in shame.

 

Tis yet another one of Davids amazing songs reminding us that God hears our crys. I cant remember which verse it is, i have it written down somewhere, but God cares enough to not only notice when we cry but He even collects our tears and counts them. Ill have a quick look and see if i can find it. Hehe ok i found it:

 

Tis psalm 56:8:

 

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

 

I find that awesome to think that someone cares enough to even count the number of tears i cry, let alone try and cheer me up when i am crying or comfort me.
